  • The Epic Baltic dips and sauna escape is focussed on hot and cold experiences. The sudden change in temperature can be extreme. The water maybe extremely cold/icy and the sauna will be around 60-70 degrees.

    If you have any health concerns, please consult your doctor before booking. You must consult your doctor if you have any respiratory or heart conditions including high/low blood pressure.

  • The average temperature in Lithuania December is -4 degrees C with average highs of 0 degrees C and average lows of – 8 degrees C.

  • We do not provide a wetsuit. Wetsuits are not usually worn for sauna and dipping experiences; however, you may want to bring neoprene gloves and boots. The lake may be frozen, in which case we will dip in an ice hole.

    If the lake is not frozen, there will be more opportunities to experience cold water dipping. If you are not accustomed to cold water swimming, we advise you to bring a wetsuit.

  • The nearest airport is Vilnius. Its approximately 1 hour to the island. You can also fly directly from the UK to Kaunas which is one hour from Vilnius.

    Vilnius is a beautiful city with a medieval old town and is great for a stopover.

  • You are responsible for ensuring you have adequate medical insurance. It is important that you have are covered for all of the activities specified in the itinerary.

  • You will be able to get a transfer either from the airport or Vilnius itself. This is not included in your package. We will forward the exact location details after booking.

  • No, the flight is not included.

  • See kit list. Layers, thermals, warm socks, gloves, hat, coat, walking boots, comfortable clothes for yoga, swimwear for icy dips!

  • Yes – it maybe snowy and icy. We recommend you bring strong walking boots with ice grips so you can safely enjoy walking on the island.

  • Its not alcohol free but we don’t have a bar and its 15 miles to the nearest shop! Please bring your own alcohol if you would like a tipple but remember…. don’t drink alcohol prior to sauna/ dipping.

  • As with any Free Spirit Escape, you can do as much or as little as you like. Most of our guests live to give things a go – but its entirely up to you!
